Phillip Island 1 Day Tour Itinerary
Join us for an unforgettable day exploring the best of Phillip Island! This tour is perfect for animal and nature lovers, offering up-close encounters with Australia’s unique wildlife and breathtaking coastal scenery.
Begin your day by boarding the bus and heading directly to Moonlit Sanctuary Conservation Park. This wildlife sanctuary is home to over 70 Australian animal species, including Aussie favourites like kangaroos, koalas, and wombats. Wander around, observing all the amazing wildlife, with expert insights from your guide and animal keepers. You can even hand-feed some of the kangaroos and wallabies or take a picture with a cute koala (own expense).
After crossing the bridge to Phillip Island, we will arrive at Cape Woolamai Beach. Stroll along the beach and watch the surfers ride the waves (time permitting).
Travel across the island to The Nobbies, where you can explore the many boardwalks and viewpoints that wrap around the tip of the island. Keep an eye out for penguin burrows and look out for seals sunbaking on the rocks. In winter, you may even spot some whales off the coastline.
As the sun begins to set, it’s time for the Penguin Parade at Summerland Beach—the highlight of the tour! Watch in awe as little penguins waddle up across the beach and into their burrows in the dunes. Make sure to rug up, as those evening coastal winds can be quite chilly.
Once all the penguins have gone home, we will make our way to the bus to head back to Melbourne, where the tour comes to an end.
Please note: Pickup times vary depending on the season (Winter or Summer). Please refer to your confirmation email for the accurate pickup time for your tour.
