Great Ocean Road Tour Itinerary

We begin our morning by leaving the city behind and heading directly to the Great Ocean Road. Along the way, we’ll take a short break to stretch our legs before continuing to the iconic Memorial Arch. Here, you’ll have time to snap some photos and pose beneath this grand gateway—the official entrance to the Great Ocean Road!

As the breathtaking views of the cliffs and ocean start to emerge, we’ll travel past the coastal towns of Wye River and Lorne. Soon, we’ll arrive in Apollo Bay, where you will have free time to explore. Grab some lunch (at your own expense) and take a walk along the beach.

After lunch, take a short guided walk through the lush rainforest to the Melba Gully cascades. Follow your guide as they share fascinating commentary and insights throughout the journey.

We’ll then continue our scenic drive through the Otways National Park, making our way to the stunning 12 Apostles. Here, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the pathways, soaking in the views of this rugged coastline.

Next, we’ll journey along the Shipwreck Coast to discover Loch Ard Gorge, the Razorback, and the Arch. These giant limestone formations have been shaped over thousands of years by coastal erosion.

After a long but unforgettable day, we will board the bus back to Melbourne, where the tour will sadly come to an end.
