Blue Mountains Day tour with Zoo & Scenic World Itinerary
Sydney has an enormous range of exciting and popular attractions to visit on your trip. Yet, one of the most popular and visited of these would be the stunning Blue Mountains. On the outskirts of the city, the Blue Mountains offer incredible views, thrilling attractions, and must-see landscapes. Home to the Three Sisters, it is a must-visit destination for any traveller in Sydney!
To kick off your Blue Mountains Tour, we will start the day at Sydney Zoo. Wander around to meet Australian animals like koalas, dingos, wombats, and emus. You can even feed the kangaroos or check out the onsite aquarium. Be sure to check out the African and Asian animals as well before enjoying a guided First Nations talk on Indigenous Australian culture & history.
After meeting all the Aussie wildlife, we will make our way to Echo Point. Grab your camera for some epic shots of the Three Sisters emerging from the cliffs. Don’t forget to take in all the panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges.
Our next stop will be Scenic World! Board the Scenic Skyway to take in 360° views of the Blue Mountains from the sky. After, take the cableway down to Jamison Valley and explore the many boardwalks around the rainforest. Then embark on a thrilling journey on the Scenic Railway—the steepest railway in the world! Make sure to explore the many walking trails and lookout points around the Katoomba area.
Our Blue Mountains tour concludes at Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. Bypass Sydney’s rush hour and grab a ticket for the ferry (own cost) to take a relaxing scenic cruise back to Sydney Harbour.
