Itinerary breakdown
First stop: Sydney Zoo
The day kicks off with a visit to Sydney Zoo. At Sydney Zoo, you’ll see a whole variety of cute native Australian animals as well as Asian and African animals. There’s lot to see here at Sydney Zoo, so you can expect a morning packed with animal encounters!
Sydney Zoo is home to a whole range of Aussie animals. Koalas chill in the eucalyptus trees, while wombats and emus roam around these large outdoor spaces!
And of course, there are heaps of kangaroos. You’ll even get to feed kangaroos! Get up close and personal to these adorable marsupials – it’s a true Aussie experience!
Once you’re done exploring the Australian animals, you’ll also get the chance to encounter reptiles, like crocodiles and snakes!
Sydney Zoo is also home to African and Asian animals. Lions, giraffes, rhinos and camels have been rehomed in Sydney Zoo, so you’ll get to encounter these beautiful animals too.
Second stop: Echo Point
Then, we head to the most iconic viewpoint in the Blue Mountains! Echo Point is well known for its sweeping views across the Three Sisters lookout point. Learn about the fascinating Dreamtime creation story of this famous rock formation, and take plenty of photos of this wonderful lookout.
Third Stop: Scenic World
Then we reach the iconic Scenic World! This ultimate tourist attraction in the Blue Mountains allows visitors to experience the Blue Mountains from a whole range of different viewpoints.
Ride the Scenic Cableway through the skies and get a bird’s view of the whole valley. Or perhaps you’d like to ride the Scenic Railway (the steepest railway in the world!)
To experience the Blue Mountains on foot, walk around the Scenic Walkway – it’s a eucalypt walking trail which connects the rides. Experience the wonderful scenic delights of this incredible Blue Mountains attraction that really shows the best of the Jamison Valley.
Fourth Stop: Sydney Olympic Park Wharf
Your Blue Mountains adventure will end in Sydney Olympic Park Wharf, where you’ll get to ride the ferry back to Sydney (own cost). You’ll see the beautiful city skyline approaching on this relaxing journey back to the city, where you’ll have the rest of the evening to explore this exciting city however you like!
